I am so [expletive] sick of this [expletive]. The world would be so much better if these [expletive] just quit breathing suddenly.

I'm trying to think of something clever to say about swamps and rats leaving.

Anyways,
Icahn steps down as regulatory adviser to Trump

In his case, he is taking his money he helped steal thanks to Trump and scurrying away. Thank goodness a few people in congress care about this incredible breach of ethics/conflict of interest
Quote:
Earlier this year six Senate Democrats, including Sens. Al Franken (D-Minn.) and Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.), reportedly called on the White House Counsel to investigate Icahn’s refusal to divest his private sector interests, citing conflicts of interest, after reports Icahn had worked closely on an executive order to overhaul the Environmental Protection Agency’s Renewable Fuel Standard.

The senators claimed Icahn significantly benefited from a policy proposal to shift the burden of complying with biofuel quotas from refiners to fuel blenders. They cited the Wall Street Journal, which reported CVR stocks increasing by 3.5 percent the day the proposal was sent to the White House.

Well, what a great job by the Office of Government Ethics to be as unethical as possible.

there isn't one iota of ethics left - not even in form of lip service or appearance. Not sure why anyone in business world - law, finance, supply chain etc has to follow ethics laws and codes when conflicts of interest are irrelevant at the highest level of government.

Why would he need to use a military jet? Doesn't he have his own?

(Disclaimer: I was lazy and didn't read the article.)
