A Chump until the end. Wtf he is making sure there is no executive branch oversight, or at least stalled until his chump ass is gone
Quote:
House Speaker Paul Ryan said Tuesday he supports the Justice Department's decision to have an inspector general review the FBI's use of a confidential source to speak with aides during Donald Trump's presidential campaign as part of its investigation into Russian meddling.

Quote:
"It's really important that we conduct a proper oversight of the executive branch to make sure that that power is not or has not or will not be abused," Ryan said. "That's ultimately the big picture of what's going on here. And so I think it's important that we just let the truth come out on all these things."

Some valid points in this OP
Paul Ryan has been living in a cave

Ryan on Scott Pruitt
Quote:
“Frankly, I haven’t paid that close attention to it,” said the man who is second in line to the presidency. “I don’t know enough about what Pruitt has or has not done to give you a good comment.”

Quote:
The speaker averts his gaze so often from Trump’s mayhem that he is likely to get a stiff neck:

Trump congratulating Russian President Vladimir Putin on his “election”?

“I don’t know the content of that conversation,” Ryan said.

Trump’s claim that President Barack Obama wiretapped Trump Tower?

“I didn’t see the interview.”

Trump’s conflicts of interest with his family business?

“I haven’t looked at the details of the arrangement.”

Trump’s call for lawmakers to investigate “fake news outlets.”

“I’m not familiar with the statement. Sorry. I’ve been — I was pretty busy.”

Trump’s attacks on NFL players over the national anthem?

“I haven’t seen all of his comments.”

FBI agents looking for information about the “Access Hollywood” tape when they raided Trump lawyer Michael Cohen’s offices?

“I didn’t even read the article.”

Trump’s strained call with the Australian prime minister?

“Don’t know the content of the call.”

Trump threatening to pull FEMA from Puerto Rico after the hurricane?

“I’m a little busy today. I haven’t been looking at Twitter.”

There's several more. But he does know there is no collusion.

People starting to pile on Paul Ryan for his tacit role in this debacle. Gives me an odd feeling to see supply sider douchebags like George Will pile on, as I've been railing on this Trump Chump for a while. (as if it matters, haha).

I've mentioned -some of my family lives in the same town. They don't like him, my brother wrote an excellent blog post about how many things he has in common with Paul Ryan, yet how vastly different they are in views. (I can send upon PM request. the message box will no doubt be inundated)

Anyhows, only in America ...can the aw shucks Boy Next Door from the humble Midwestern town grow up become and do all this:
1) be the oligarch's (Koch Brothers) wingman,
2) Help put a reality TV star loser in the presidency
3) promptly allow reality TV star loser make Ryan his toy poodle as Trump becomes authoritarian leader
4) Take centuries old democracy to the brink
5) ruin the chance for future aw schucks boy next door's to do the same.

Note - he can't even mention Trump's name. And not to quibble!!! - but is Russia really hostile to most basic American ideals, which under Ryan TRump GOP, is oligarchy - and what benefits the wealthy donors benefits US all!

Somewhat rage-inducing, not that I'm surprised
