Good, the Baby Boomers deserve this. Then when they are all dead and gone, hopefully soon because of the cuts, we can do Medicare for all.

They'll most likely make longer term changes such as reducing growth, etc. In the short term I doubt baby boomers will feel it.

The article also notes we're getting welfare reform.

Who needs a social safety net, right? Not the 41 million Americans currently living in poverty according the US Census.

Local churches can feed, clothe, house, provide healthcare to, and educate 41 million people. No prob.

Never fear. Wart will take care of them all.

Why do you think they're going to cut their own benefits? They won't.

They'll fade out the Medicaid/Medicare system over the next 20 years. The boomers won't get hurt, their children will.

Never understood why this was always directed at conservatives in the trailer park and not celebrities in Hollywood. Don't they vote against their economic interests?

It's a very difficult puzzle to solve.

No, but I can't say I've thought too much about it. It just seemed disingenuous to me. I heard Bill Maher, I think it was Maher, pretty sure it was on his show, make that point and I thought to myself "Finally!"
