Is he really going to let facts do him in? Has he learned nothing from the GOP's highest official?

not the same. GOP congress already created/sold out and complicit in Trump regime. their hold on majority is tenuous.

MO GOP has a super majority and Greitens was lark of a candidate that emerged from their cluster [expletive] of GOP extremist loons running for governor. Greitens never had the state version of McConnell, Ryan, and McCarthy etc by the panties as Trump does.

MO GOP under new governor Parsons castle doctrine ass hole will get back to their work of extrmist gun rights, attacking women's rights, tax credits for millionaire donors, banging interns, and taking money from lobbyists to do their business.

I would hope that the demise of this jackass would have larger repercussions for the party that foisted his BS upon us. Though that is not a given.

Memories, pressed between the pages of my mind
Memories, sweetened through the ages just like wine
Quiet thought come floating down
And settle softly to the ground
Like golden autumn leaves around my feet
I touched them and they burst apart with sweet memories
Sweet memories

Of course, the prospect of still facing invasion of privacy charges is out there.

That's BS, in my opinion. He should absolutely be charged.

Kim Gardner was in my graduating class at WGHS (93). I didn't know her very well, but she is a good person. That said, she really F'd this up, I think. It's a shame. I had such high hopes when she won the job.

As far as I'm concerned she's no better than the corrupt Republicans. If a felony was committed then he need to go to prison. Period. To let him off with resigning just makes me wonder who paid her off. Our laws have to mean something, our politicians have to be held accountable, if not we need to dissolve the country and start over.
