People care about pictures of my kids. Also, I like to share amusing anecdotes about workplace foibles.

Eventually people are going to get bored of social media, just like we get bored with everything. I mean, how boring is Facebook these days? Remember when Facebook was new and super addictive and you felt like you suddenly had this crazy voyeuristic power you could have only dreamed of before? Now it's just pictures of people's kids that nobody cares about, propaganda, and ads. It's boring as hell.

Facebook is really lame now. 98% of my news feed is "sponsored" clickbait, people linking articles (often clickbait), pictures of food/beer/kids/look-at-me!, and people wishing each other happy birthday. I open the app maybe once every 3 days while I'm crapping, scroll through for 30 seconds, then decide I'd rather play euchre.

About right. I'm posting weekly pictures of the progress of our money pit project and get warm fuzzies with every 'like'. But that's about it.

Until next month when I become a grandpa for the first time. Then, have mercy on my FF friend's souls.

I shouldn't be a dick about pictures of people's kids. I like all the pics of my nephews and friends with kids. Still, it's all less thrilling than back in the day when I combed FB like a stalker for whatever crumbs I could find about whichever girl I liked at the time. Or uploaded my own pictures hoping to cultivate an image of a cool, worldly man hoping someone would see them and find me irresistible. None of it ever worked, by the way.

Remember when you would actually take the time to tell Facebook all the bands and movies you liked in the hopes that some kindred spirit would read them and profess their love to you? God that was pathetic, looking back.

The best thing about Facebook is the memes. That's about it. We use groups for organizing too I guess but it really is pretty lame.

But even the memes are usually pretty stupid. I have one friend (close friend IRL) who posts almost nothing but Danzig memes and other heavy metal-related memes/puns/etc. I mean I know you love metal, dude, and I do too, but what's funny about sticking Glenn Danzig's head on something that kind of sounds like Danzig and making a pun out of it? I don't [expletive] get it, man.

FB - I followed History in Pictures , and occasionally clicked to see if any more info on ab interesting photo in comments. Nope- Every single time it is a racist KKK [expletive] show. Every time.
