As I mentioned with "Because the Night," it feels like playing a little loose with what constitutes a 'cover song' when half of the duo performing it co-wrote the song (and, in this case, was the guitarist on the original version). Just my .02.

Fwiw it was my third pick and I didn't think it was part of the tourney. But I think it's different enough from VR to qualify as a cover.
