I was confused when I saw Roger Miller because I thought Kristofferson wrote the song. Wiki cleared thing up for me.

"Me and Bobby McGee" is a song written by Kris Kristofferson and Fred Foster, originally performed by Roger Miller.

The Un-Covered thread would have helped.

Blasphemy and all that, I know, but I've never really cared for Janis Joplin in general.

Pretty sure I've voted against her every round so far (and in the previous tourney she was in several years ago), and am doing so again.

janice isn't in my top tier if favorite musicians but there are a few songs she really knocks out of the park. Me and Bobby McGee is one of them IMO.

I could listen to Me and Bobby McGee on loop for hours and not get tired of it.

I'm good with this win or lose. Janis was my second pick but was already taken, and the Beatles my third.
