[expletive] that. Drink a PBR and tell me what you think. It's better than Bud, MGD, Coors ... It's not going to compete with a good micro beer, but for the mass produced American stuff it can't be beat. To me it's like Tecate vs Corona on the Mexican mass produced stuff .. you taste the two and I guarantee you that Tecate is better. It's also a hell of a lot cheaper. No, Tecate is not going to be better than a Bohemia (a more expensive Mexican beer), but Tecate is a great value.

There is my second choice ... Tecate. Always in my fridge.

I always get a 12 pack of Tecate when I order PPV boxing.

Guinness. People that say "oh god I cant drink that, its too heavy" are silly. It has a lower ABV and fewer calories than your standard American lagers. It is dark and has a creamy head, zippity doo dah. Its delicious.

High Life is easily my favorite. It needs to be in a glass bottle though.

Mich Light is far and away the best Budweiser offering - kicks the [expletive] out Bud Light, etc.

And I think Newcastle is underrated. It's not cheap and everyone knows about it, but it's truly one of the best beers on the planet.

Guinness is awesome but underrated? I hated that stuff for years because my Irish father in law gave me a couple in a can and said "Oh this is the best it's from Ireland blah blah". It was horrible. Anyone that thinks a beer that tastes bad is overrating it.

Of course I had to re-try it again when i went to Ireland, and by the end of a week there I was in love with the draft version. I learned later the alcohol was low but figured it out, because I could have a pint and lunch and it didn't make me the least bit tired and it didn't sit in my stomach like a brick. It is the perfect lunch beer.

Perhaps not not underrated, but misunderstood. I hear people all the time saying Guinness is too heavy and they don't like it because of that.

I only ever drink at pubs, since that's my career (I wear a kilt at work), so we're on opposite sides of the beer drinkin spectrum. It's your favorite weekend of the year. I am furiously jealous - while you are drinking lots and lots of cans of beer, BBQ'ing, enjoying the sun, etc, I will be stuck bartending on the absolute, single slowest two nights of the year.

Yeah me too. It's tasty beer and free when you watch a PPB. It's great. Plus the Tecate round card girls are nice.

I agree it's misunderstood. It's light, and low alcohol.
