Lou Boccardi's just on the edge of The Hill now offers a pretty full menu of foods with CBD in it. I've never tried it but may at some point.

Oh for [expletive] sake.

Edited to add: is it because CBD adds deliciousness?
This pretty much guarantees i will never step foot in the place. Anywhere else out there for me to know about?

Can't remember if I've shard this story or not. But, eh, it's friday so enjoy again anyway.

Back in college, where all great stories start, I had just finished finals. I'm sure I'd slept maybe 10 hours over the past 3-4 days and not eaten or exercised much. In short, probably not lived a particularly healthy lifestyle for the past 5 days. At this point, I'd been type 1 diabetic for a couple years and, well, pretty much knew how to control my blood sugar but didn't have a grasp on all the finer points...like what not sleeping for a week and then taking some monster hits off a water bong would do, but I was soon to find out.

YMMV, but it dropped my blood sugar to like 45. Drank a coke or something and 15 minutes later was at like 30 which was not good. I'm high as a kite, freaking the [expletive] out at this point and couldn't find any sugar. So, I asked a friend to help me out which he did. Even though he couldn't locate any sugar in his place, he did manage to give me a piggy back ride (thinking that I didn' tneed to be wasting any sugar by walking) about half a block until a cop passed by and we flagged him down and hitch hiked to a gas station about another block and a half away. Super nice guy that was surprisingly sympathetic to my plight.

Anyway, carry on.

I think I've heard that some place called Fried that is newer in town has a CBD option for their food but I could be wrong. Either way, their menu just doesn't seem like something I'll be trying out anytime soon anyway. There is a definite stoner theme to everything there and it is basically just fried chicken, cauliflower or shrimp nuggets with a couple of different side options.

I mentioned Fried a couple of posts ago. I just noticed today that they were listed in the list of restaurant closings for June in the RFT. They opened April 5 and didn't even last 3 full months. Ouch.
