Baseball players are notorious for signing autographs the way doctors sign prescriptions and basically for the same reason: they sign so many of them it's easier to just scribble than take the time to write your name legibly. But I know who has the most legible autograph of any baseball player:

The answer is in my sig. I'm surprised no one guessed him. He has admitted that he has a bad signature.

Well, there are illegible signatures, and signatures that lead doctors to suspect that the writer has suffered a stroke.
