There have been lots of great music threads that have exposed me to a lot of great music... so how about a thread of songs sung in other-than-English?

Lucio Battisti (he's sort of the Bob Dylan of Italy)

And France's favorite son, Jacques Brel... though technically he's Belgian.

Oh, I'll beat you to it. :P I think I've mentioned this several times to you before, but to me this Bollywood song is still THE BOMB.

One of my favorite Christmas songs is Feliz Navidad. Does that count? Either that or 99 Luftballoons

I'm so predictable. :D

Feliz Navidad works but it's nicer if you can link us to a version that you really like... :)

Bebel Gilberto - Momento
Quote:
Bebel Gilberto is the daughter of Joao Gilberto, the man even Antonio Carolos Jobim credited with the invention of bossa nova. Her mother, Miucha, is one of the only three vocalists to share an entire album with Antonio Carolos Jobim. Not surprisingly, at an early age Bebel became a force to be reckoned with in the Brazilian music scene.
