Just watched "Grey Gardens" off of TCM the other day. Pretty good stuff. Your first instinct is to feel sorry for those old ladies but it must be nice to just not give a crap.

The Battered Bastards of Baseball looks good. Time capsule like. Kurt Russell's Dad?

Watching the Big Star documentary now, "Can't Hurt Me Anymore." It's an interesting account of how a can't miss, colossally talented, critically adored and managed to never find success due to personalities, label woes, breakdowns, etc.

I recently watched the ESPN "Catching Hell" documentary of the Bartman incident. Always would laugh about that situation, but after watching that, I really, really feel bad for the guy.

Finally saw this myself after hearing about it for the first time the other day on local STL sports radio.

Unless you're local, I simply don't understand how you can possibly root for a Chicago sports team after watching that.

That may be the single most depressing and saddening film I've ever seen.

stumbled across this on Netflix. "The Two Escobars". incredible footage of Pable Escobar and the era of mafia-run soccer in Columbia. Just nuts.

I'm going to have to check out what else from 30 for 30 films is avail.

Also, looking forward to seeing this one when it gets cheaper.

The Two Escobars is the best one, IMO. I also liked the OJs getaway one, but don't recall the name. The Bo Jackson one is good. 'Big Shot' was a very interesting story too. Tons of great stuff.

I believe they're all on Netflix.
