Men's Shoes

Post by ThatGuy »

Since we've got a sock thread, we should probably have a shoe thread as well. If this has been done before... well, I don't care.

I've currently got a pair of the ubiquitous NB 574s, and while I really like them, I think I need to branch out a bit. If I find something I like I'll probably just go ahead and buy even though I don't need the new shoes now. Anybody have some recommendations for me?

Now that is unique.

I think I'd be in a class of one with those shoes.

See, I don't think I've got the legs for those.

Reebok Classics. I have them in white, black, grey and navy. A pair of Pumas and my Saucony's for running. Oh, and about a million pairs of flip flops.

Wow, I can't believe I hadn't thought of Reeboks yet. Ideally, I'd like to have about five pairs of shoes that I can wear daily (different colors like you), but every time I think about it, I come up with a "better" way to spend my money. I've never been a big shoes or clothes kind of guy.

How much would a pair of Classics set me back?

We have an outlet store here that sells them for 20 a pop. Buy one pair get one 1/2 off or buy 2 pairs get one pair free. I get new pairs every year.
