Anyone messed with it yet?

I downloaded it - took about 20 minutes. Started making an avatar this morning, but couldn't finish it. I'll be trying the Netflix feature out later.

I didn't know what you guys were talking about so I looked up the Netflix thing. 12,000 movies streaming. I think my year-long debate over which system to purchase is finally over.

Certain movies aren't working due to a delay in getting licensing worked out, apparently. Columbia and Sony, I think.

some other nice or interesting stuff:
Users will also be allowed to copy their games and play directly from the hard drive, resulting in faster load times, Microsoft's Marc Whitten wrote in the blog post. "Of course, you will still need the disc in the tray to prove you own the game," he said....

...On the social networking front, the Netflix partnership will also enable users to watch movies together through the Live Party System. Gamers can create "parties" of up to eight friends who can chat in the dashboard, follow one another from game to game, share slideshows of personal photos, or watch movies from the Netflix library. The system will work with all Xbox 360 titles, not just upcoming games, Whitten said.

I'm pretty pumped about it. That being said, I have a netflix subscription and the streaming movie selection is a little disappointing.

Yeah. Hopefully it improves.

I'd really love to check this out. But I'll have to wait till next year. Yesterday I sent my XBOX in for the 3rd time in 2008. What a piece...

Keep an eye on this site for a good 360 deals. Actually, this forum is even better:
