Has anyone ever used nowinstock.net or something similar? I'm trying to find one of those stupid hatchimal things for my niece, but it might work for the NES too. It says you can set it up to text or email you when any of the retailers they track has it in online inventory.BW23 wrote:My 10 yo wants one for Christmas. I'm not looking forward to waiting in a line. I wouldn't bother at all, but he doesn't really want anything else at all. I actually want it more than he does, so I'll have to find one.MrCrowesGarden wrote:Got the Nintendo NES Classic today. GameStop I went to ended up having ten of them, I was third in line. Waited about two hours, so not terrible IMO. Unfortunately no extra controllers were on sale at the store I went to, so just 1-player games for now.
Sounds like there were some problems for people buying or looking to buy at Walmart and Target near me.

It sounds like Walmart will sell limited quantities on its website today, tomorrow, and Friday.

Re: The Video Game Thread
I just completed "Deus Ex: Mankind Divided", and it's a cracker (if feeling a little like it's missing a chapter at the end, or something - the final fight is an absolute piece of cake). I got the "Pacifist" achievement (no kills, not even bosses) but failed Foxiest Of The Hounds (trigger no alarms). I'm looking forward to another playthrough as a complete psycho, turning all the turrets onto friendly fire mode and so on.

Wish I had a PS4 I'd be all over The Show. Xbox One has nothing for officially licensed baseball.

I saw a brief clip of the game recently and now that my XBox 360 died (second one) I think I'm going to switch over to PS4 just for The Show before too long. I hate to give up on all of the games that I've bought for XBox but I've been through two of them since GTA V came out and that's just way too frequent breakage for my liking.

I used to have time for video games before kids. Ah, the glory days.
