I think I agree with every bit of this review. GREAT acting, so-so plot.

I lost steam on Bloodline somewhere towards the end of Season 2. Without Danny (the black sheep brother) around, it felt like it was flailing about in search of tension.

I hesitate to recommend it, because it's so damn heavy. Especially the first season. It's a little depressing, but also really adventurous. I think Damon Lindelof scares some of thos those who know him from Lost. There's a touch of Lost DNA, but it's got a completely different set of goals and is so much better at reaching them. Only 2 episodes left before it's done.
I liked season 1 a lot, loved the second half of season two, and then disappointment set in midway through season three. I thought The Leftovers had the potential to be one of my all time favorites but it never got there.

Fargo is still super tropey and over reliant on a knowing bizarreness, but that last episode was still extremely good.

The Magna Carta was signed on this day in 1215. As if anyone could forget!

Better Call Saul was a slow burn.

I feel like an idiot for not figuring out that Yuri was basically an evil presence who keeps getting reincarnated.

I watched a show called To Tell the Truth last night (I think that's the name) and really enjoyed it for mindless entertainment.

I'd never heard of it before but they had a great group of contestants last night with Justin Long, Kal Penn, Nikki Glaser and Areille Kebbel.

The best question of the night had to have been when Nikki asked the panel of guys who all claimed to be Usher's choreographer, "Usher discovered Justin Bieber... why? Why did he do that to us?"

I'm looking forward to GLOW on netflix which lands today. I remember GLOW when I was a kid so it'll be fun watching a series loosely based on it.

Also, Alison Brie.

Saul finale was great. Feels like some forward movement. The show needs more Nacho.

Fargo really got better as it went too. Pretty sure that's my favorite season and it felt a lot less dependent on Coen references for the second half. David Thewlis was soooo damn good. The final scene was great,

though I half expected Gloria to lose patience and shoot him.
