I think the residency issue is a convenient and valid talking point. It's definitely ideological though. You can hear mourdock's ad, followed by an ad from the NRA and then later another from Club for Growth. Lots of outside money.

I'll just make one post here to cover my entire 11/2012 election commenting.

The dems are pansy sellouts.

The GOP are [expletive] crazy-ass ideologues not worthy of any consideration, debate or serious discussion (ala the flat earth society.) I'm not saying every GOP backer is this way on a personal level, but if you support them -even passively, in essence, you are the same way -giving merit to the likes of the tea party.

Most likely, if one is a GOP backer, we can still get along fine as friends, co-workers, and even family members - but I have zero respect for your political viewpoints and comments . Until the GOP rids themselves of their extemist ideology, I refuse to waste on ounce of brain matter on your politcal views. It's either straigth dem, independents and/or not-voting for me.

One of my favorite Conservative friends posted on his facebook page the link to the Washington Times pointing out that the Obama 12 reelection slogan is straight out of the Communist handbook. I pointed out that he missed that it was a Hitler Youth march song as well.

I would ask how can the Constitution survive in an age when multinational companies are allowed to spy on citizens without consequences and the US Supreme Court favors the rights of corporations over citizens.
