My guess is the Republican nominee is someone not on that list.

Daniels, Christie or Ryan?

I'm kinda bummed that Daniels said he won't run.

George Ryan is still in prison and thus not eligible.

It's going to be Rick Perry. The tea party folks love him to pieces. And he's completely unelectable (outside of Texas). Like a Dennis Kucinich for the right wing.

Eugene V. Debbs, communist, once ran for the POTUS while in prison.

Favorite: I love the train wreck that is Sarah Palin

Least Objectionable: I'd say Romney, if he would quit acting like the Mass. health care system isn't like the new federal system. It would be easy for him to make it a state vs. Federal issue, but instead tries to just make them not seem similar.

Also, this race is basically shaping up to mirror the 2004 election.

Central theme: "I'm not Bush!" = "I'm not Obama!"

Central issue: war in Iraq = economy/debt

I wish Mitch Daniels had thrown his hat into the ring.

Should be very entertaining. Bachmann just claimed she shared John Wayne's spirit as both were children of Waterloo, Iowa. 'Cepting it was John Wayne Gacy that was born in Waterloo.

I would like to see Bachmann chose Michael Turner (R) of Ohio as her running mate, for obvious reasons. So would Randy Bachman, for the obvious tie in and royalties.
