Location: making a decent penny in boiled denims
All of a sudden my computer doesn't recognize/read CDs in the D: drive. Any ideas computer guys?

Optical drives fail pretty often. I've used the old DVD cleaning discs on an old drive once without much success, but that very well could have been because the laser or spindle went bad. If it's a desktop, luckily you can get a new DVD-RW drive for about $20 online.

Thanks, guys. I will try cleaning it first, but it's good to know it can be replaced cheaply if that doesn't work.
