When I was like 12 my neighbor's dog ran after me when I was on my bike, I didn't notice it coming until it lept up and latched on to my leg. I managed to shake it free and I took off as fast as I could on my bike.

Now if a dog bit me when I'm out on foot, it depends. If I felt the only way I'd be unscathed was to beat the [expletive] out of the dog, I'd do that. When I'm face to face with dogs, it seems like even the meanest of dogs seem to like me, so I might be able to calm it down. If a dog attacked my dog while I was out walking him, I'd kick the other dog in the head as hard as I could.
