Why is this even here? Who would NOT vote for the Cardinals? I can't wrap my head around this question at all.

Wait, so you're not allowed to follow more than one sport?

Of course not. Doesn't that just confuse things?

Maybe. Did you see that terrible goal Furcal gave up yesterday?

C'mon man!

As much as the current Cardinals' run has brought, I'd 'rather' see them win a WS every year if the choice was mine to make.

That being said, it'd be nice if the Blues won a Cup before I die.

If the Blues win, good for the Blues, but if the Cards win then we get the joy of another World Series but also the joy of seeing the Cub fans miserable. It's a double win.

Go Blues.

Fortunately they aren't mutually exclusive, so there's the possibility of both occuring, which would be [expletive] insane.

But I definitely have to go with the Cards. As much as I love the Blues, it's always tough to follow them in the playoffs because baseball is going on. Baseball just means that much more to me.

Blues. Hockey is my favorite sport, and after all of the success we've seen with the Cardinals (and even the [expletive] Rams) it hurts even more to have the Blues be the Cubs of the NHL.

Bulls
Cardinals
Bears

In that order of fandom and wanting to see a title.

Blues.

To the point that I would even take a Stanley Cup Finals appearance and loss over a World Series championship.

I'd take one Blues Stanley Cup over 5 straight Cardinals championships.

The general point you should take away here is that I really, really want the Blues to win a Stanley Cup at some point in my life. Preferably this season.

Speaking of Stanley Cup droughts, has anyone noticed that 5 of the final 8 teams have never won a Stanley Cup? Those 5 teams average 34 seasons of frustration (Nashville's 13 pulling down that average), with the Blues and Kings both coming in at 44 seasons without a cup.
