That sounds terrible. I hope folks are o.k. We got hail here in Louisville in the early evening, too, but no problems to report.

We were there tailgating and partying after the game. We left about 15 minutes before it happened. Scary.

I heard the death was caused by debris.
I was driving on Lindell at the time it happened. Holy crap, it was like instant apocolypse. All of a sudden it was raining so hard that cars on city streets were pulling over because you couldn't see 3 feet in front of you and wind was blasting hardcore southbound. Gusts had to easily be 60+ mph.

Me & a buddy got lucky & just missed the storm. We had been playing baseball across the river in Sauget & saw it coming so we got the hell out of there. We passed right by Kilroys on our way home & it seems to have hit right after that. We didn't see any hail but it poured & was windy as hell. Those downtown streets can act as wind tunnels sometimes.
