Sadly not just the wildlife that can get you...two young US tourists struck by lightning on Mt Warning yesterday, one fatally.

Golf and nature have a beautiful relationship, but sometimes things can get ugly. According to a report from the Cairns Post, a 13-foot python was found feasting on a wallaby on the 17th hole of the Paradise Palms Resort in Australia over the weekend.

One of our dogs is 11 lb Chihuaha-terrier mix. And his coat is stark white with a few spots. Easy to see. I sometimes envision a hawk or large owl flying off in the sunset with our sweet little Taco Bell dog.
btw, internet says it can happen
Would be troubling, but worry more about our other dog, a 23 lb Terrier-chihuahua mix going on hike in southern MO and being gored by a feral hog. (Taco Bell dog's actual litter mate, only she looks more like WishBone-From PBS show).
The first situation would be a more natural way to go. The 2nd, Feral hogs aren't native. I'd rather the coyotes or cougars get her for a natural death.
But if I had a choice, itd be Bigfoot for both.
