We always have giblet gravy at Thanksgiving. So good with Mom's old school Southern dressing.

you know how you go to IHOP for example and get biscuits and gravy? it's just the cream/white gravy. some places you get sausage in it. so i just combined them.

but this is the "all points of view are welcomed and heard" thread. I see where you are coming from, and i will gladly change the choices into 2 distinct choices if you would like? I want everyone to feel like their choices are listed, and their voices are heard.

I know red eye gravy, and will eat it as long as it's made with water and not coffee.

That would make it not red eye gravy.

Sausage gravy is the correct answer. On the handful of days I cheat on my diet, one of the few things I indulge in is biscuits and GD sausage gravy. With eggs, and bacon, and sausage, and hashed browns. Just mix all that [expletive] up together and enjoy life. Lots and lots of gravy... [expletive], now I want to cheat on my diet.

Have you been to Biscuithead in Asheville? Great place, even has gravy of the day. So damn hard to choose, so they offer flights of gravy.

It's nearly impossible for me to see Sausage Gravy and Biscuits on a menu or breakfast buffet and not get it.

I had never heard of red-eye gravy...go go gadget Wikipedia...sounds like it's more of a southern thing.
