I will be walking again to raise money for the National Alliance on Mental Health. The walk is in June, but we are already forming our team to raise money for NAMI Pierce County. You can click the link to make a donation. My goal is $250.

Yay! And the walk isn't until June. I have another NAMI fundraiser on Facebook for my birthday (which is tomorrow). I've raised $95 of my $200 goal. You can also contribute to that.

My nephew has a mental illness he has been dealing with for some time. I learned recently that he has received help from NAMI. He has made great strides - he's a good and brave kid. Now he is giving-back, so to speak, by speaking to his NAMI group.

Anyways, I'm grateful to Mary for this fundraiser, and all of you who have given.

I just noticed this post. I have heard many people say that their loved ones were helped by NAMI. That is one reason I am glad to be a paid member and volunteer for them.
