My gf who is a few years younger than me just confirmed that her group of friends ordered them the same way. She said, "it's the only way to do it - it turns their garbage bagels into cream cheese spoons."

I was going to say, those aren't bagels.

For the record, as a St. Louis-raised Jew, this is NOT ACCEPTABLE, either to my people or the reputation of my homeland. Stop saying this is a St. Louis thing, or a bagel thing. It is neither.
