If you are just talking fried chicken; then I do prefer KFC. Original too; none of that new fangled hippie chicken.

I'm in agreement with you on the original recipe. I love fried chicken of all types but that is my favorite fast food fried chicken. I'm not a huge tender fan but I do wish they would make chicken tenders with the original recipe breading for those times were I am craving KFC but need the simplicity of tenders because I'm in polite company and don't want them to see me devouring an entire bucket of bone-in chicken and the resulting greasy mess that I become.

Guys, tenders are the work of Satan. Fried chicken needs a bone inside to conduct heat to ensure you get the inside done so it won't kill you but still juicy and moist while getting the outside crispy and crunchy without burning it.

Also, somehow KFC has somehow been relegated to almost entirely suburban here.

What I really need to know is whether anyone has been stabbed in line yet, a la black friday shoppers fighting over that last Furbie.

Popeyes is out of chicken sandwiches, now off the menu.

They came, they saw, they conquered, and now they've left. But, they'll be back at some point.

Advantages:
Sandwich: Popeye's
Sides: Popeye's (red beans and rice 4 life)
Politics: Popeye's
Purchasing Department: ChickfilA

--or*--

They were getting CRUSHED and they had to make a decision. Reel it in, get their stores staffed up a bit so that they don't serve a LOT of people product that is far below their standard, suck up the loss in revenue from pulling the chicken off the menu for a month, then re-launch the sandwich fully prepared for the onslaught of demand.

*let's be real, you don't run out of brioche, mayo, pickles, breading and commodity chicken.
