I've recently been on a few other sites of other teams and noticed they have many baseball forums: other MLB games, their rival's team, the AL, the NL, Game threads, etc...
I'd like to suggest that you *not* do that. Thanks!

Re: Board categories
yeah, I like this set up just the way it is. Wouldn't add or delete any new subforums.

Re: Board categories
We're very wary of forum creep and we don't like to do it. For instance, there was a push for a movies/music forum, but I resisted it.

Re: Board categories
It seems like it would make the overall site too cumbersome. Some of the same thoughts/comments would be posted in multiple places and "conversations" would be harder to follow since one wouldn't know/remember where the last similar remark was posted.
Glad you resisted the movies/music forum. The 3-4 running threads in Social seems to suffice.
Just an indirect way of saying, thanks. I like the cleanliness and simplicity of this board.

Re: Board categories
I concur with the original post. Whenever I approach a forum I've never been to before, and there's a million sub-categories, it's very intimidating, and everybody has a [expletive]-fit if you post in the wrong sub-category.
