Thanks doc but I don't think I want to mortgage my home for a haircutdocellis wrote:There is an excellent one here:Molly wrote:Hubby also cuts his own hair.thrill wrote:I've been cutting my own hair for 7 years. It's great.
Not a very politically correct statement but I haven't had a haircut I've been truly happy with since my gay stylist quit the business. Anyone know a gay stylist in the St. Louis area

Definitely pricey, you're right.Molly wrote:Thanks doc but I don't think I want to mortgage my home for a haircutdocellis wrote:

I have an appointment for my first over "over $50" haircut next month. My sister told me the difference is so amazing that it is worth it. I find this very difficult to believe.

Believe it. If our current financial situation were such that I could afford it I would definitely give them a call.docellis wrote:Definitely pricey, you're right.Molly wrote:Thanks doc but I don't think I want to mortgage my home for a haircutdocellis wrote:

I think this is the barber thread.
Just read a news story about a guy who was arrested for all sorts of heinousness including videotaping underage sex acts. As I was reading the story I got this creeping feeling that he seemed familiar. Figured out that he was the guy who cut my hair twice at Southtown Barbershop. Seemed like he was on meth so I didn’t go back.

I can't remember the name of the place but there is a place with a Vietnamese name on Gravois just north of Chippewa and they have always done right a great job at a cheap price for me. I normally just shave my head and trim my beard at home myself but if I have a wedding or something to go to, I do pay somebody the day before just because I know that eventually I'm going to slip up on the beard trim part. Back in March I had my head shaved with a straight razor, my beard trimmed and cleaned up really nicely and the guy even went in on my eye brows. And he only charged me $25. I tipped him another $15 on that one, he spent a lot of time trying to make me look good (which is nearly impossible by the way).lukethedrifter wrote:I think this is the barber thread.

Do you go to a barber to shave your head? When I see someone with a shaved head I always wonder how you could do it at home without having nicks and cuts all over the place.

It's easy if you use a field knife.Radbird wrote:Do you go to a barber to shave your head? When I see someone with a shaved head I always wonder how you could do it at home without having nicks and cuts all over the place.
