Now if he could just, you know, play well enough to stay on the roster to make it worth my while to get the jersey.

Every o-fer that he pulls makes it a little less tempting to get the jersey.

I bet he uses performance enhancers for his "movie" career. There are plenty of jokes available, but I'm going stay away from anything that has a punch line featuring his "corked bat".
