There's always direct messaging, but that's better served with e-mail.

I originally started following it because the STL sports media peeps seem to love it. Instant updates as opposed to full articles published later once they've had the time to write them. That and the occasional celebrity is entertaining to follow.

I get that it isn't private. But everyone of my "followers" is business related.

then you should get a second, naughty twitter account.

What a weird conundrum. Am I "naughty" enough to have two accounts for a product I don't even know if I want?

You listen to Tim and the Cat and Vaughn talk about latent homoeroticism and strippers every morning and your first tweet is to Producer Joe asking if he's gay. Why did you get a twitter account again?

Most people like you who follow a ton of sportswriters and such use twitter like you use GRB. That's why I've never done a ton of tweeting myself, only reading/following.

yeah, I started following twitter pretty much based on the advice of GRB posters (I think cole...can't remember) saying it was pretty awesome being able to follow all the sports guys. And, they were right. I love getting Matt Leach's insight during games. Keith Law is really entertaining to read as well. He's essentially an [expletive] but has pretty good insight into milb.
