I'm sorry for your losses, Tim and Leroy. It's always a good reminder to me to show as much love and care as I can muster to those who are important, because it could all go away so quickly.

Really sorry, Tim. Cancer took my best friend 18 years ago. I smile more than cry when I think about him these days. Time will do that. It will never not suck but eventually memories of the good times outweigh the sadness.

Thanks again everyone.
Buried my friend today. It may have been the hardest thing I've ever done. Our town is one of 2,000. I think the entire city plus more were there. I mourn for his parents, his wife and his two boys (14 and 5).

And everyone else that has suffered from this heinous disease.

Lost my uncle to lung cancer. He's had a good life and made it to 84 years of age. He will be missed but my aunt is the one we're worried about. They had been married 60+ years and she's having a hard time.
