Re: Rave: Finding Bigfoot

I have one friend who truly believes that UFO's and bigfoot are related (he thinks bigfoot is an alien). This stems from an experience he and his wife had while four wheeling in an isolated forest in northern Minnesota, near the Canada-US border.
The incident basically went like this: he and his wife pulled up to a riverside on their four wheeler, and noticed a strange, blue, pulsating light in the sky. It was sort of making it's way down towards the forest. Suddenly, near the area where the light disappeared into, some sort of creature came tumbling down a hill out of the forest, landing on the opposing side of the river. It then got up and ran down the bank of the river and eventually out of sight. Shortly after, another similar-looking creature appeared out of the forest from the same area and gave chase to the first thing; he says that this one tripped and momentarily fell in the water, alarming a group of ducks, sending them into a frantic flight away from the river. He says that both things were very tall and were covered in hair. He's convinced that they saw bigfoot, and that it was related to the UFO they saw in the sky.
He told me this story at work, in the middle of the day, and hairs stood up and my arms. It was one of the creepiest and most bizarre stories I'd ever had someone share with me. Now, as far my opinion on the story is sort of a mixed: on one hand, this friend is really trustworthy and reliable, and more importantly, he's very educated and one of the most intelligent guys I know. On the other hand, he comes off as credulous whenever we discuss things of paranormal nature, so that's a huge strike against the integrity of his story; this is not to insinuate that I think he's lying, but I think it kind of warps how he interprets what happened that night.
