Rant/Rave: Food Coma

Post by Michael »

I just ate this burger and I'm in a daze right now. It was delicious, but I must have consumed at least 1500 calories. There's no way I'm going to be productive at work today.

Next up, Thanksgiving.

This is as good a place as I can think of to ask if you've seen the El Bulli documentary. Well?

No, I have not. Truthfully, I didn't know one existed.

The big El Bulli news in Chicago is Next Restaurant (a grant achatz joint) is going serve a El Bulli's greatest hits menu. It should be damn near impossible to get tickets which most likely won't matter to me because it will be ungodly expensive.

I would for sure. I ate Menudo last night.

So I've seen the No Reservations El Bulli episode which is awesome, but didn't know about a documentary.

Showed at the St Louis Intl Film Festival. Wife wanted to go but it looked boring to me.

I came home and destroyed an 8 inch deli sandwich, half a container of hummus with a bag of pita chips, probably 8 oreos, a big cup of Dr. Pepper, and an entire box of raspberries.
