This whole [expletive] idea that sex is dirty and bad is what, imo, causes more problems than watching porn could ever do.
nicely said.12veinte12 wrote:To be fair, you're not going to find hardly anyone that thinks sex is dirty and bad. You will find folks, myself included, who think that it should be limited to a monogamous married relationship. We could argue that point all day and come to no conclusion, as arguments over issues of morality often turn out. However, I think you can make an argument over harmful effects of pornography, i.e. objectifying women or damaging intimacy.wart57 wrote:I would never have voted for this idiot anyway, but if I was even on the fence, this would have put me over it.heyzeus wrote:Get out your pitchforks and torches, it's a war on porn!

Now, legislating it is another and more difficult issue, and I would rather rely on changing men's hearts than trying to impose the law. I do wish it were not so easily available to children. I know going 50 years back we all found our way to a playboy magazine somehow, but everything is so easily available up to extreme hardcore. I'm pretty sure there's no putting that genie back in the bottle though.
