Beltran hit a homerun Tuesday night and Hrabosky almost went into a diatribe about how Beltran and everyone else picking their game up will replace albert pujols.
I mean....WTF. The team is flat out playing ball right now. Easily one of the top 5 teams at the moment, leading their division by 3 games or so already and is contending for overall best record in baseball in no small part because of an offense that is absolutely raking. Why the flying [expletive] is he talking about replacing Albert PUjols? SSS and all, but at the time being, they've 'replaced' him and then some. Just talk about how well the team is doing, not how they're still trying to figure out a way to replace The Great and Powerful Pujols.
Hrabosky sucks, but he's not the only one. It's like the goal of the season has become to figure out how to get over Pujols instead of go out, pitch, hit, defend and run well and in turn win some [expletive] games..... The team is doing the 2nd part, yet for some reason the fans can't do the 1st.
Blame the Cleveland Cavaliers. They completely fell apart after LeBron left, so everyone expects the Cards to do the same (and are surprised it hasn't happened). Any talks about replacing Pujols can be translated as "This is fun. I hope it lasts."

I could not agree more. Mandatory happy flights next year seems very logical. And yes, I do think a squirrel could play second. The only thing I question is the tortoise in the outfield.
