Rant: Getting swept (we only attended Friday and Saturday's games)

Rave: Had an overall great time. People were actually nice to us even while the game was going on and we had a lead. Man, they boo Yadi as much as we boo Phillips. Lot of good natured kidding w/Cincy fans. Drank lots of beer!

Will probably try Miller Park next year w/a stop in Chicago on the way assuming the Cubs are in town right before we play the Brew Crew.

Color me impressed. During my August 2010 trip, the only good-natured interaction Elaine & I had was with some Brewers fans taking the stadium tour with us. The tour guide was a jerk, the fans sitting behind us at the game were cruel, and a random fan at the hotel bar walked over to our table, where we were minding our own business, and blasted us for even being in Cincinnati. It was the most bizarre of all of my baseball trips. Everywhere else I've gone, I've had very positive interactions with the opposing fans.

Reds fans are [expletive], I'm pretty amazed somebody had a decent experience there.

I've heard more Amy stories than Molly stories .. enough to where Cincy is #32 on my MLB cities to visit list, just behind a re-visit to Milwaukee at 31.

Maybe they weren't all that obnoxious because we were able to do last year what they were not in 2010 - win the World Series

It may also have been a safety in numbers thing too Amy. It wasn't just hubby and me. We were in a group of about 15 people.

It's so awkward when people are ass holes for no real reason....
