Re: Random musings
I keep hearing people peppering their conversations with "I know, right?"
i.e.
person a: Haven't seen you in a while.
person b: I know, right?
person a: This pad thai is good, right?
person b: I know, right?
I kind of like it. Currently tends to be used by cool females, and I like cool females, right?

Big improvement over past trendy affirmative interactive. Yeayeayeayea. Different usage though. yeayeayeayea tended to cut someone off showing you get what they are trying to say
Person A: and then we..
person b: yeayeayeayea
tended to be used by males, as way of saying- I am a man and I don't need explanation

Re: Random musings
My stepdaughter used to be fond of finishing off a thought or statement with "you know what I'm saying"
I didn't like, because often she'd use it and I had no idea what she was saying.
i.e. I can't do it because, yeah you know what I am saying.
or - the people on metro link..you know what I am saying.
I like to think I played a role with her quitting this by replying No and asking for a clarification.

I prefer to say This guy knows what I'm talking about. It reaffirms what you're saying while at the same time making this guy feel like he's an in the know cool dude.

The cut outs on my exhaust froze open today. My neighbors are going to hate me in the morning.
