Can we add annoying radio being played everywhere? I got stuck in a waiting room connected to a sales floor and man it was loud. Stupid talk radio and crappy music. Or many retail shops. Damn, how can people stand working there with the nonstop noise? (probably can't stand it, just no other good options)
Why the frak is our culture scared to death of quiet time? I know waiting rooms suck, but they recently invented these little devices made of thinly sliced wood. People print stories and stuff on the wood slices with a substance called "ink." You can carry a few around in pockets and read these quietly, thus not disturbing others. (You can even carry an electronic device if you're that obsessed with being modern!) If you want to listen to crap, use your own music/phone device and headphones. Stop noise polluting common areas.
