Rave: Good health report

Post by Leroy »

I haven't posted much about this, but I found out I was pretty ill about 4 years ago. I was actually placed on a liver transplant list due to a measurement, that is represented by a number. My number was pretty high, high enough to be placed on a list anyway. Somehow, due to medications and lifestyle changes, I have cut that number by almost a third. It is one number away from being the lowest on the scale. I'm still on the transplant list, but I was very far down the list before, now I'm considered inactive. Just found this new number yesterday, and I'm pretty jazzed about it. I'll never be fully healthy again, but as long as I am maintaining where I'm at, I'll be fine.

It is as good time as any to tell anyone who is going through health crap, to keep your head up and do what the doctors tell you. It may or may not work out, but hang in there. I thought I was beyond hope once too.
