Re: Jimmy Johns
The best part about JJ's for me is my hatred of mayonnaise.
When I order, before I can even tell them no mayo, they are slathering it on what would have been my bread. They always get huffy, puffy about it when they have to start over. I enjoy that.

I like Jersey Mike's better than JJs. They just opened up a Firehouse Subs nearby but haven't tried it yet.

Jersey Mike's, while quite a bit different than JJ's is pretty good as well. I've only tried firehouse subs once & it was bad enough that I haven't went back (and that's saying a lot when it goes to sandwich shops).Radbird wrote:I like Jersey Mike's better than JJs. I really do hate the bread. It's always a mess.

Jimmy Johns bread is akin to cilantro apparently. Either love it or hate it.

Off the top of my head, McDonald's and Subway are the only two places that completely fail at bread.

Do you all have Lenny's subs available? There's one right next to my office and while I try to limit eating out to once a week or so, by gosh, that place makes it tough. They have this buffalo chicken philly cheeseteak sandwich and hot relish sauce.
