Why on Earth is everyone happy? Do you have any idea what just happened? Every baseball cliche we've ever heard: "A win is a win is a win" "It ain't over til it's over" "There's always a chance" "Baseball is a funny sport" blah blah blah blah every single one of those stupid ass cliches that cause us to waste countless hours following our team after they're out of it was completely shattered. We're going to be 11 games out going into September next season and we'll all still watch for another month because we know it's possible. This is the worst thing to happen to baseball fans since Jose Canseco. Please, support the cause to eliminate the Cardinals from the playoffs because they weren't supposed to make it in. That way I can start following football and hockey once my team is 7 games back with two weeks left. Repost this as your status if you know someone directly affected by baseball cliches.

I saw it Michael. I won't forget.

Seriously guys, think of the children. That means another month of dad pounding Budweisers and kicking the family dog when LaRussa puts in a senior citizen reliever that we picked up from Good Will.
