Tara Nevins is my new favorite, if I'd have known about her last year, this is the song I would have entered in the tourney

St. Louis peeps should go to this event at the Old Rock House Sat. night. It's benefiting ALS (Molly!), my friend's band is playing and there will be awesome silent auction items like autographed Cards stuff!

Nice, enjoy!
Dave Simonett's (singer/songwriter) on my softball team. At least when they're in town. They're always on the road.

I'm going to mention that to him when I see him after the show. Should be fun.

Have you guys seen this wild Bob Dylan cover album?
http://www.amazon.com/Chimes-Freedom-Songs-Bob-Dylan/dp/B006H3MIV8/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1328855001&sr=8-1

I've not heard much of it yet, but looking forward to it. Even if Miley Cyrus does one of my faves.

Threw this in the talk thread. Checked it out yet? I usually don't like Dylan covers at all, but every now and then someone pulls it off very well.

There's some really fun stuff. There's some bad stuff too. The only real abomination, IMO, is Daniel Beddingfield's 'Man in the Long Black Coat.'

This is great:

I grinned the whole time during Bettye Lavette (one of many artists I had never heard of) 's 'Most of the Time'. I also liked K'naan's 'With God on Our Side,' and Dierks Bentley's 'Senor.'

I really love this from Tom Russell's 2004 album.
