NBA 2011-2012 Y'ALL

Post by thrill »

Saturday morning we got the news I was dying to here. I almost spit coffee all over my breakfast turkey and cranberry sauce sandwich I was so happy.
No final sked yet, but here's the breakdown of how it will play out: http://www.nba.com/2011/news/11/27/schedule/index.html

Can't wait for free agency. It's going to be all Vin Diesel up in here.

This is going to be crazy. Free Agency and Training Camp start on the same day. The New Orleans Hornets only have 6 rostered players right now, the first day of camp will have to be 3-on-3 scrimmages since thats all they have.

I'm willing to offer my services as a slow short point guard with limited passing skills.

Hopefully we'll see a healthy Joakim, an unhealthy Boozer, and a legit two guard join the Bulls. And a further improved Asik and destroy!

Mac the Bulls fan is ecstatic. Mac the bartender a block from the Garden is also ecstatic. Mac the bartender who was just asked if he would work on Christmas day, when we were supposed to be closed, but our owner is a greedy [expletive], is pretty pissed. I strongly said no, and was threatened with a "well if we schedule you, you're fired if you don't show" speech.

December 9th is going to be so fun. 15 days of free agency before the season. Sounds like it's pretty likely the Bulls will sign T-Mac. If that happens, it'll be fun to watch Kobe put up 35 points in the 20 minutes or so that TMac is on the floor 'guarding' him.

I hope the Blazers amnesty Roy. Soul-crushed emoticon. I wish we could be the team to swoop in and take him for a dime as well, though.
