Yeah, but I think you should have to put Batista in as his replacement. Just because.

Catch me up here. You take the actual lineup from the actual game that day and then play the game your way, is that correct? Keep us up on this. I'm very interested.

Yes, the exact starting lineup and any roster move. If so and so got hurt on April 30, then he will get hurt in the replay season on that day as well. The one thing that gets a bit tricky is when a guy is really hurt and unavailable but still on the roster - the Computer Manager loves to use those guys off the bench. I try to remain true to that - if a guy was hurt for 3 days and unavailable but on the roster I won't use him.

No, I start who LaRussa started.

Whoa ... check that. New feature. "Day-to-day" means they are on the roster (not DL) but not available for the game. Nice. Holliday is day to day for me from 4/2 to 4/10. I think his pinky hurts.

I thought that was when he had his appendix out.

DMB is the best! Ok, so I'm in the 9th with a runner on 2nd and Franklin facing Ryan Ludwick and 2 outs. Up 1-0. The play by play text said this:

Code:
here's the next pitch
launched
-- with authority --
to deep right-center field
Rasmus racing back after it
way back
now he pulls up and plays the carom
that ball was catchable
but he gave up on it too soon.
Venable scores, and we're tied at one!

I'm sorry, there is just no sim even close to DMB with realism. It just doesn't get any more real than that.

Padres series in the books, Cards lose in 10 on Saturday, Trevor Miller takes the loss, Berkman works his way into Cardinal fans hearts with a homerun and double. Sunday the Cards and Ryan Franklin blow a 1-0 9th inning lead when Colby pees himself when he feels the warning track, but Tyler Greene is the hero with a 2 out walk off single scoring Skip who doubled before him. Garcia went 7 shutout innings, and Franklin picks up the win to go along with his blown save.

2-1. Pirates coming to town.
