Filthy goal.

MLS -Eddie Johnson to Seattle could be a brilliant signing. His speed either starting or off the bench, playing with the best attack in MLS? Zakuani, Alonso, Montero, Hernandez and Rosales Is already the best front 5 in the league. He could be a serious catalyst if he can find any kind of form.

Can't wait for the season.

Huge opportunity. If he doesn't make it, it won't be for lack of work.

The Seattle fans hate it. It could be brilliant or awful. Not unlike the Boyd deal. Hopefully Johnson feels like he has something to prove (actually, hopefully he doesn't) I think earlier he scoffed at 400k offer from MLS and is now onboard for a quarter of that.

We signed a former Barca youth Cameroonian winger who has been lighting camp on fire. Four assists in three games. Our attack is going to look a lot better this year itself. Still don't know where Nagbe will play. I think it will be Alexander/Alhassan on the right wing, Songo'o on the left wing then Nagbe just behind Boyd up top. Nagbe will probably also wing a bit too. But anyway, we improved in every part of the field except wingback (which does trouble me a little). We also very nearly had Robbie Rodgers.

Vancouver also got better, albeit with a head-scratching amount of forwards. Going to be fun up here in the PNW. Preseason tourney with SJ, some Dutch team and Chivas at Jeld-Wen (rename it, please) in less than two weeks. I'm a full-season ticket holder this year. I'm super excited.

Did you see Ching went back to Houston? Montreal didn't win that one.

Ching is very close to done. Montreal never should have drafted him. Waste of time for everybody. Seattle fans are dumb. A lot of hipsters-come-lately. EJ has more upside than either player they traded, and Neagle whom they seem most upset about, would be stuck behind the best left winger (pre-injury) in the league, Steve Zakuani. It's a risk, and yes, EJ was hugely overrated when he hit the scene with the national team, but his speed is enough to make him a very useful MLS striker again. Also, he's a bargain a 100k a year.

So how does the Mexican Premier League stack up?

What's a general ranking of the various leagues worldwide?
