Normally I hate all of the hype and build up to the NFL draft (and don't get me started on mock drafts), but this should be an interesting one for the Rams as it looks like there will be a bidding war for that #2 pick.

Hope that happens. The rams need quantity and quality.

RG3 running a 4.38 certainly doesn't hurt us any. I would love to see the Rams get a good roster player back in the deal, even if it meant fewer picks.

Well, there has been some talk about a trade built around DeSean Jackson (One suggestion I've seen is Jackson and Philly's 1st, 2nd, and 4th rounders).

I'm still holding out hope that a rash of very poor decision-making strikes NFL GMs. The Colts pass on Luck, the Rams draft him and trade Bradford and next year's #1 for Cleveland's pick, the Vikings pass on Kalil, the Rams get Kalil.

I wouldn't hate Desean. I'd love to trade down with Washington if it meant getting Brian Orakpo.

RGIII would be a lock for the top pick in just about any other year. I'm excited to see what the Rams can get for that pick. It could have a huge impact on the franchise for the next 5+ years.

I'm thinking the Redskins trade up, giving up their first and second, plus next year's first. I don't think Cleveland is willing to beat that just because of how far they are from competing, and I don't see that #4 is all that much better than #6 unless the Vikings surprise everyone and pass on Kalil (In which case the Rams probably have to give up one of the second rounders to get #4 and a late round pick). Blackmon will probably be there at #6, and he isn't really the kind of guy you lose sleep over missing out on. I'm not really sold that the Rams are targeting him anyway. It wouldn't surprise me to see the Rams trading down multiple times.

I think some of it depends on what happens with Manning. If he gets to the open market I can see Snyder wetting his pants and passing on RGIII.

I can see Snyder wetting his pants and Manning telling him he isn't going to play for a dysfunctional organization run by a man with bladder control problems. I don't think Manning to Washington will ever happen.

Well, Manning is getting released tomorrow and is likely to sign with Miami. I don't see the Redskins chasing after Flynn (Who is going to be a huge bust btw), so that's still where my money is for RG3.

EDIT: Trent Richardson's knee surgery has him dropping to the middle of the first round in some mocks. I can see the Rams trading down twice to target him.
