I entered the yahoo contest just filling it in one game at a time and ended with Florida State beating Marquette 77-71. Historically I have been right less than 10% of the time.

Can someone please inform me of Seth Davis's basketball expertise!!! PLEASE! Like, what's his resume'?
Davis is a dook grad. Which means he probably didn't watch a basketball game in person until his freshman year in college.

Jay Bilas thinks Memphis got a brutal a matchup and was underseeded(??) by the Committee

No. 9 Saint Louis over No. 8 Memphis: Memphis was under-seeded, and the Committee did the Tigers no favors with Saint Louis from a match-up perspective. Saint Louis is able to slow teams down and can take care of the ball. Memphis has to defend and rebound to get out and run, but the Billikens don't give up the ball easily. This is a match-up win for Saint Louis, and a Committee loss for Memphis.

Pomeroy loved both of those teams. His numbers had SLU at #15, one spot behind Baylor. Memphis was at #9, one spot behind Mizzou. If either had gotten a better seed, I imagine they both would have had a really good shot at the Sweet 16. Instead, they're fighting for the right to play a 1 seed.

I can't think of anything better than a SLU-Mizzou matchup to determine who goes to the final four. I give it about the same odds of happening as I would have a Cards-Brewers NLCS last August. One can dream.

So what's break even for Mizzou? Losing in the Sweet Sixteen? I'm trying to temper my expectations.

After the year they had, I think anything less than a Final Four is a disappointment.

I'm really surprised Temple got to stay as high as #17 after falling to UMass in their first A10 Tournament match.

If you're going to have to play a #1 seed in this tournament, it might as well be Michigan State.

Depends on disappointment I guess. If they lose to Michigan State in the Elite 8, I'll be really bummed, but I won't be shocked and saddened like if they were to lose to Norfolk State or Virginia. Unfortunately though, they've played well enough that they really do need 3 wins at a minimum, which is never an easy thing to do. I'm hoping their ridiculous scoring balance helps carry them through.
