This whole [expletive] idea that sex is dirty and bad is what, imo, causes more problems than watching porn could ever do.

To be fair, you're not going to find hardly anyone that thinks sex is dirty and bad. You will find folks, myself included, who think that it should be limited to a monogamous married relationship. We could argue that point all day and come to no conclusion, as arguments over issues of morality often turn out. However, I think you can make an argument over harmful effects of pornography, i.e. objectifying women or damaging intimacy.
Now, legislating it is another and more difficult issue, and I would rather rely on changing men's hearts than trying to impose the law. I do wish it were not so easily available to children. I know going 50 years back we all found our way to a playboy magazine somehow, but everything is so easily available up to extreme hardcore. I'm pretty sure there's no putting that genie back in the bottle though.

Agreed. And if Santorum believes this then I'd rather he tell voters this than what he thinks will get him the most votes.

It's odd because he seems to be off-message, which is one consistent problem with Santorum as a candidate--discipline.

Someone should do a work up of how many American jobs this would cost. I mean isn't porn the last American industry left?

So government can't regulate Wall Street or the Health Care industry, but it can regulate what I jerk off to?
