That looks absolutely [expletive] retarded but it's Tim Burton so he'll get a pass.

Now "Betsy Ross: Dragon Jockey" would be much better.

I was talking to my brother the other day and he was raving about both of them.

I'm not really sure what I just watched, but it looks badass nonetheless.
The premise is that a bunch of cops from an elite squad in Jakarta, Indonesia are storming into a high rise run by a notorious crime lord to take him down. He's expecting them.

Actually it's Timur Bekmambetov, which does sound like a ridiculous alias Tim Burton might use if he were booking a hotel room.

To me it sounds like a great b-movie with too large of a budget.

I saw this preview before Hunger Games in Springfield, IL. For those of you that don't know, Springfield is heavily Lincoln-centric - the tourism is almost solely from all the Lincoln sites; his house, grave, presidential museum, etc.

I don't believe there will ever be a film that offends a single, small city more after the groans I heard in that audience.

GREAT. I'm about to take my girlfriend to see it. She's read all the books and it all she talks about.

I have no desire to see it so I'm just doing it to be nice.

I better get a handy later.

Hunger games was surprisingly good. There were a lot of tweeners in the theater, but it had more of an adult feel to it, which I liked.

I thought the rule change was a bit hokey however, but that was in the book so there's nothing that could be done about that. I also thought the random creation of a mutant animal was silly. But, I guess if you can have real fake fire then you can have pitbullhipposhreks.

Also, Cabin in the Woods is gaining momentum....really psyched about that movie.
